I think this place serves good tourist Thai food in a local environment because foreigners won't probably enjoy local food that much anyway (too spicy and complex flavors). The price is not that cheap. As others have mentioned, it's a very small place with only...about 15 seats and 1 cook (probably) in the kitchen, so better book in advance or come early. The local signature dish, Khao Soi, was luke warm and too many fried noodles on top (huge serving), which was bit of a let down. Overall, not bad, but average.More

Best food we had in chiang mai by a landslide. Cute little place with only like 6 to 8 tables. We ordered the khao soi, massumen curry, and minced pork basil with a couple Chang beers. All SO mouth-wateringly delicious. Especially the khao soi. Food...takes a little while to come out since they’re maybe one or two ladies in the kitchen. But everything was just so so flavorful. Only thing I’d say to add would be maybe some soft music in the background, otherwise nothing else to fault! Wish we had another night in chiang Mai to come back.More

Nun's is a little restaurant in an alley off Walking Street, and it's a great find. Its size - it's small even for a 'small' Thai restaurant - means you might have to wait during the main dining hours, but I think you'll find it's...worth it. I stopped in with a couple of friends and everything we had was different and very good. We all agreed we'd come back. Service was very good, too. The Khao soi at Nuns was the best meal I’ve had in Thailand. So tasty and great mango sticky rice too. Absolute five star meal.

Best food I tasted in Thailand. The Khao soi is beautiful, with just the right amount of heat and absolutely delicious, and the Mango sticky rice the perfect end of meal.

We ate at Nun’s early 2020 , for the first time, and loved it right away. Unfortunately our trip was cut short because the pandemic hit. We weren’t sure if it would still be there , or be as good , when we came back...to Chiang Mai recently. Of course, it’s still there ,and still serving such good Thai food. Nothing has changed. It’s still tiny ,and you’ll probably have to wait to get a table. I don’t think the prices have even changed from 2 1/2 years ago! Same friendly staff and same hot ,fresh , incredibly tasty food. I visited this little restaurant with my friend. It is very typical tie. Extremely small. You will get to know your neighbor and the food that we ordered. Each was fresh and fantastic. I watch them move and I watch vegetables arrive and I only...wish I could get vegetables that look that beautiful in my country when I went shopping each time. I highly recommend the food & it is so reasonably priced I'm wondering how they do it but busy they are.
