The place is certainly not pretentious and the French influence is hard to discern if you exclude the art on the walls. Yes, Planete is a first rate eatery with fast service and competitive prices. The service is always courteous, certainly not familiar, with street life and motorbikes literally on your doorstep. The soups are homemade and invariably delicious and... More

This little French-style restaurant in South Pattaya is packed to the doors most nights and diners have to wait outside in the street for a table to become available. There is a very cheap three-course table d'hote menu, but this is poor quality compared with many other restaurants in Pattaya. The a la carte menu is much better value with... More

Since most comments from other guests are about the French food, I decided to go for the Thai food. The quality of the meal I had was absolutely good, the taste, way presented and also the size of the portions. Especialy in relation to the cost, this was a good experience. The service certainly was not bad, but friendlynes has... More

In France, you can still find good quality food in a simple setting for a reasonable price. These places are usually bistros. It is a surprise to find such a place in Pattaya where most European restaurants are mediocre, pretentious and overpriced. Vegetables were fresh and crisp, meat was tender, salad and desserts were tasty. I will make it by... More

I was with a friend and we took the menu 320 Thb. It was refined, well presented, plentiful. My friend took meat, I took fish, both very good.

We have been visiting la petite planete for a number of years and each time we look forward to the pate. We cannot fault any part of every meal we have ever eaten here. The restaurant has started to offer a recommendation on wine and I must say the wine choice is superb.

This is one of a line of restaurants and diners in the street alongside Tukom in South Pattaya, but it is well worth finding. It is a Thai managed restaurant offering good value Thai food and French dining on a budget. The three-course tabel d'hote menu of the day is on a blackboard outside the door and now costs 395...
