We didn't make any reservations before showing up, since it was a Wednesday. We arrived by taxi. The hostess came all the way to the taxi to greet us. The outside of the restaurant is very impressive at first sight. The inside is extremely well decorated. You feel like you are eating at a rich friend's villa. I believe they... More

We had dinner at Nam Phan in Da Lat last week. The restaurant is located amid a beautiful garden inside a tastefully restored French Villa. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we had a few staff members just looking after us. And oh boy, how they spoiled us! The food we received was not only delicious, but some of it... More

We walked from Dalat Palace, easy to find. Very sophisticated restaurant, we were ready for a very special moment but it was really disappointing. Very very long service despite only three tables, six guests! I ordered fresh spring rolls that were the worst I had for my all stay in Vietnam. I didn't eat them and called the young lady... More

Impressive place. Fantastic food. Bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Only drawback is that getting there pretty much requires a taxi. Reservations may be necessary-it was almost full when we were there.

Lovely building & very good food. A lot of fish on the menu (it's Vietnam I know but I don't like fish). Expensive wine but food prices reasonable (total bill $90). Top end Vietnamese restaurant.

Save up $ and hunger as this is one of the outstanding Vietnamese restaurants. No other restaurant in Dalat can be compared and it only moderately expensive. The building and gardens are superb.

We stayed two nights in Dalat in May 2011. We tried a number of restaurants recommended on Tripadvisor and in the Lonely Planet (including Da Quy and V Cafe). We came across Nam Phan when walking around the french district one day. I am really surprised that no-one before now has reviewed it as it was by FAR the best... More
