I was always taught that a good sign of a rice noodle wrap was a good silky smooth texture that wasn’t overly chewy and was soft on the tongue. I found that here. The best Banh Cuon I have had to date here in Vietnam (it’s been 5 days). Not a fancy place at all but that’s what makes it... More

I've been interested in this dish since I read about it in Charles Phan's cookbook. It's a rice flour crepe garnished with pork or shrimp and fried shallots. Instead of being cooked on a crepe pan, it's steamed on a cloth stretched around a pot. The girl who made my dish was barely a teenager, so I'm guessing she's the... More

Went for lunch. Offer is small (good thing) and efficient. Got both pancakes with chicken and pork. They are good. A perfect option for a quick lunch eating street food but seated around a small informal table. Bad thing is that you have to pay for this place twice the price you pay in the streets, but I guess it... More

I prefer the chicken banh cuon but the pork is good as well. We went there just to snack but ended up ordering more and having dinner there itself.

Can't get enough bahn cuon! As I have eaten my weight in bahn cuon throughout my Vietnam journey, this place is top notch. The rice pancake is made right in front of you, can't be fresher. The fillings are delicate, delicious and begging to be enjoyed. Here you can have traditional or just mushroom filling. Top your plate off with... More

During my 4 weeks trip to Vietnam, Banh Cuon became my favorite food and at this restaurant they make it to perfection. We stayed in Hanoi 7 days and went here everyday for a quick bite, whether at lunch or just before dinner as an appetizer! Highly recommended.

Had the pork rice rolls with a side if cinnamon pork. i was expecting much more. The taste was very mild and the rice roll was very sticky. It had little taste until one dipped it in the sauce. We also had the cinnamon pork which is sold by the piece; it is like a mild pork sausage - it... More
