This place is a bit out of Old Quarters but only about 30,000 dongs by Grab. Curiously they have some young guys to open car door for you. The restaurant and the neighbourhood seem to have a lot of Chinese influence. I enjoyed the eggplant,...More

We came here because our airbnb hosts recommended it. We got the banana flower salad, the fried eggplant with garlic, and the duck with basil. I thought everything was great. But my friend thought it was pretty flavorless, except for the banana flower salad. That...More

Was introduced to this eatery many years ago by one of our local friend and it left me with a strong positive impression then. Revisited on our last night in Hanoi recently and the place is still as charming and atmospheric. Ordered several of my...More

Very nice location. We were sitting on the floor, yes a little bit uncomfortable if you are not used to, but very characteristic at the same time. We tried frog legs for the first time, yum!!! The food was delicious and perfectly flavored.

We sat upstairs on the floor and ordered about 5 small plates of duck, pork, water buffalo, fried eggplant, and fresh spring rolls. Each plate came with its own sauce. Everything was fantastic! Our favorite was the duck. Recommended in the 2014 Lonely Planet book...More

We stopped in here for lunch last week. The brought up stairs to a lovely area where you can take a seat on the floor (if you have back problems I would sit downstairs). We ordered spring rolls, banana salad, caramel pork, and something else....More

Enjoyed the authentic Vietnamese food and traditional sitting on the floor. Food all very good flavours and great value for money. Garlic eggplant and duck with basil was amazing and highly recommended. Great experience when visiting Hanoi!

Definitely something you wouldn't usually do, but a great experience of the senses with local delicacies of snail star fruit salad and pigeon as a couple of their main dishes. Sitting on floor mats and tables being non existent is not ideal for anybody that...More
