The food is ok if you like a peanut taste in your noodles. This is north Vietnam and they don’t like spice so the local food is in the bland side. South Vietnam eats spicy like Thailand but the northern part refuses to break cultural...More

This is one of those hidden gems in Hanoi which you must try out if you want to claim a stake to the Vietnam local cuisine connoisseur. Located near the old quarter this place is always bustling but mostly with local which is how you...More

This restaurant does a great beef noodle salad, but that is literally the only meal they make. They have a couple of other small snack options (as seen on the photo of the menu that another traveller posted) including a chicken soup that was served...More

The food tastes delicious but one of the chefs was picking her nose. Otherwise....I would rate it a five out of five

I can’t say much more than what has already been said about this place. The restaurant gets a lot of tourists but don’t let that dissuade you. Avoid the sausage in a banana leaf and save space for the beef noodles because its divine. Make...More

This place is very popular and crowded during meal times. However we didn’t have to wait long before we got our seats. The beef noodle salad is delicious with a tangy sour broth. One bowl is 60K and it’s totally worth it.

It’s the last shot of the dinner along old town of Hanoi, beef rice noodles serve with peanuts, mints leaves and herbs etc, lime sources with sugar vinegar . Good combination.

I love places that do something so well that is all they have to make. Also the name of the place. Delicious.

No need to book. Just take a sit if it's free. It's not a formal restaurant.

Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
