This place is special as it is the birth place of the Hanoi famous Egg-Coffee. Many coffee shops in Hanoi sell their version, but do visit Giang for its historic value, sweet service and casual vibe.

This was only my second egg coffee in Vietnam so I was only able to compare with one from Ho Chi Minh City... both were delicious! Will definitely pop into this alleyway again! Hot Egg Coffee... so smooth, sweet, just really something everyone should try!

I’m a big fan of egg coffee. This place is quite exotic and unique, shunned in the alley. I had double checked before I walked in the shop. There’s wide open space on the second floor where you can enjoy, chitchat in Vietnamese style. This...More

I'm not sure if they add condensed milk to the egg coffee, what I know is they add the blended egg on top of the coffee. But maybe you can request them your specifications.

Description
Giang Cafe was founded by My Father ,Mr. Nguyen Giang in 1946, when he was working as a bartender for the famous five-star Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi hotel. Although the cafe has been relocated twice, its egg coffee recipe is almost the same as in its early days, with its chief ingredients being chicken egg yolk, Vietnamese coffee powder, sweetened condensed milk, butter and cheese.
