The place is always crowded with locals. It's my second time to be there and we tried four flavours. I like the Kem Com (ice cream with rice flakes). The shop is near the Hoan Kiem so can go there have a try if you are visiting the city.

Delicious and cheap! Sooooo good! A bit hard to find - that's a huge shop with cakes and stuff, but the ice cream shops are hidden in the back - you will see the queues (!!) and that's where the yummies are :) Rate 4 out of 5 just because not all the flavours were available when we were there... Don't expect anything but an Ice cream that will make you come back again. as simple as that. wide range of ice cream, cheap, fresh, and it was just as good as sitting down on a sunny day and relaxing.

You know a good place when locals swarm it too for the yummy ice cream. They have set flavours like chocolate, strawberry, coconut etc but the coconut is the best in my opinion! The ice cream costs about 12k dong (dec 2016) which is about 40p! Regards Omar

I went there with my family. We bought 2 for each person. The beans are and coco flavors are the best ice creams I have ever tried. It was really cheap. The bad thing is most staff are not friendly enough. Just buying some and walking around the Lake to enjoy your ice cream.

We were just walking by and stopped for some ice cream. Presentation was interesting as my coffee mocha was covered in something like Turkish delight and came in 3 balls but was quite nice. And coconut ice-cream was more straight forward ice cream on the stick, which was very yummy

I decided to give this a try based on blog recommendation. At 12,000 VND, it's worth a try and see how locals enjoy their ice cream best. I tried the vanilla as it was my flavour benchmark across all shops around the globe (if they get vanilla right, then they're alright) and I had to say that it was interesting.... More

The ice cream was good not the best but nice and worth the experience. The line up is fascinating and gave us a giggle. We went here at night time and then explored the French Quarter which made for a nice night out

It's not Italian gelato but the ice cream tastes good and very cheap at 12k VND for a cone. However, the service is really really unfriendly. I didn't have the right change ready and she grunted and pointed to the sign. Also, as others have said, it's pretty unhygienic. Scooters can drive right in and the whole place in general... More
