Unlike my fellow diners, I've not yet been to Vietnam, but this is by far the most delicious and memorable Vietnamese food I've had so far. Inexpensive and served in a less than pristine barn, everything we had was full of flavour and texture - even the fried spring rolls which I normally avoid. And yes, I agree with others... More

Myself and my partner loved this restaurant. We came specifically for the Bahn Mi and we left very happy. We've travelled through Vietnam since eating here and I can honestly say we haven't found another Bahn Mi matching those we had at PVO. The baguette was very fresh and crisp, pate was delicious along with all of the other ingredients.... More

I love this place. One the best things about working for COPE was being a short walk from PVO. Over the last 12 months I've had most things on the menu. Everything is fresh, delicious and inexpensive. Beware it is often a full house between 12:00 - 1:00pm on weekdays.

Best Banh mi in Vientiane, they help you if you want the ingredients separated to take away. Price is reasonable and the food is fresh.

This restaurant serving Vietnamese noodle (Pho), a bit costly 20,000 Kip but need more improvement for This food. I like only French Baguette (Khao Ji) Tuna Sandwich. Although Price just increase for 1000 kip for 1st May 2016. They should give better recipe for Tuna Sandwich.

Wasn't impressed after walking all the way to this restaurant for what I was expecting to be an amazing lunch only to be told that we were not allowed in as they were closed...yet the place was full of locals eating lunch. It's a long way from out of the main city centre to be uncertain whether you will be... More

I was told to hunt out this place, turns out there are two of them and not far from each other. It doesn't matter which one you go to, try their pho (I thought the pork one was the best) and you will love it! My partner and I had a small bowl each (with masses of fresh herbs and... More

I went there several times with local people and must admit banh mi (vietnamese sandwich with meat and vegetable) and fresh spring rolls are the best I have ever had, therefore each time I go there I take fresh spring rolls.

Noodles with soup is 20,000 kip. Two times higher than Vietnam or Thailand. Not that worthy of the money I spent. Everything in Laos is expensive.

Popular Vietnamese restaurant when we visited for lunch. Delicious food with great variety. Most diners are local people; few tourists. Do not mistake this PVO with another nearby that is somewhat sketchy! This is the real deal and excellent - worth a visit.
