After living in Thailand I became familiar with Fuji. The prices in Vientiane are much more expensive than Thaiand. Even if you convert from local currency to Thai, it's more expensive. One constant remained....the quality was great.

We are frequent diners at Fuji restaurants when we visit Thailand so we were interested to try the Lao version. The menus were essentially the same as in Thailand but the prices were higher. The quality of the food was comparable. Service was satisfactory and the setting (we were at the Mixai branch: there is another branch too) was pleasant... More

The place is always busy with tourist and locals alike, but I don't understand why, especially in a city with such great food variety and quality. I lived in Japan for two years in the 90's, so maybe I'm bit of a Japanese food snob. I had Raman and a small sushi platter for dinner. One thing I have learned... More

An amazing experience full of great emotions. We were greeted with a warm welcome of "Sabaidee" by the whole kitchen and service staff which is a custom here. The restaurant interior design was elegant with wooden decoration, very japanese oriented with an open kitchen sushi bar. The kitchen staff very clean and professional in their appearance and work. On first... More

I really love eating sushis and I was not disapointed at all when I ate there. The food was just delicious and the fish was fresh. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. However we passed by the restaurant once in the evening, the electricity had run out in the district and so I don t know how... More

Restaurant has 2 floors. Private rooms on 1st floor. Had dinner in one of the private room. Many food listed in menu. Ate many dishes - yummy. Parking space - more than enough.

Finding a decent restaurant that serve Japanese food in Vientiane? Fuji is among the best so far. Pricing though is a bit expensive, but the food served is authentic and delicious. At night usually will be packed with people, located near to Mekong river which is easy to find.

This is a Fuji chain sushi restaurant prevalent in Asia tucked away in sleepy Vientiane. However, it turned out to be the best Fuji we've ever visited yet, both for the food and the restaurant. The place itself has the tables around the perimeter of the establishment with an open kitchen in the centre. It was very entertaining and interesting... More
