My son went there to taste the coffee and came back with the coffee capsules which is compatible with our Nespresso machine back home. It is reasonably priced and the coffee capsules was vacuum packed. Back home, I love the taste of the dark and extra dark coffee and wish that we have bought more back.

I despair when I see tourists drinking cappuccino or european style coffee in the region. Laos and Vietnam have a great coffee culture and the local coffee here is excellent. I found the Laos coffee at Sinouk to be the best in Vientiane. Having tried a few others, including highly rated JoMa I found the coffee here streets ahead of... More

Not overly expensive, but not the cheapest. However, clean, fast service, fresh well cooked toasted sandwiches and pasta. Drinks similar to any of the chain coffee shops , hot and well presented. Fast wifi. Quite small but that makes it quite relaxing, with views of the Mekong.

French inspired cafe with seating in two floors. We had icecream which was very good. Very nice and quiet place to relax, with good service.

These cafes are everywhere in Vientiane now. A little bit expensive by local standards, but Mr Sinouk takes his coffee seriously and its very, very good. Maybe the best in Vientiane? Coffee available to take home too. My favourite is the Arabica Japanese Blend. A very ordinary selection of cakes etc to choose from though. For me this cafe chain... More

Good atmosphere for chit-chat. Enjoy the environment and street view from first floor. Nice laos coffee but with little bit sour taste.

Just like in Vietnam, one of the obvious traces of the influence of former colonial master, France, are coffee shops, which also serve pastries and light snacks. I believe that SInouk is a chain, as I also had espresso in a Sinouk in a small place, by the petrol pump, between Vang Vieng and Vientiane. The coffee fi very good,... More

The place is a favourite for many to watch the people going buy on the Mekong boulevard. Always something going on there. A very small terrace that needs some renovation. The coffee (don't forget to tell if you want cappuccino warm otherwise they bring you whatever they think is something like it) Great French style cakes. Not cheap but worth... More

My saviour in a land without Starbucks! Though the price of a cup of ice blended would cost about the same of one from Starbucks, the place was almost full with tourists! They have pretty interesting merchandise on sale too! Do check out the capsule coffee with many different types of roasts... the capsules are Nespresso machines compatible.. I have... More

The Baguette with Pizza Topping was really Good. The Staff is up to their marks, very pleasant and really good service. This looks like a 100$ Cafe, but the prices are rally nice. A place not to be missed.
