We had Maguro sashimi for starters. Miso soup, beef with glutinous rice and raw egg for main. Very good and filling, would have liked sake to go with it, but unfortunately restaurant not licensed. SLR 3,000 per pax, was reasonable pricing.

Went here for lunch on Dec 26th. Beautiful premises but not ready to go yet and staff not quite "on the ball". Had to wait over half an hour for my Salmon Sashimi and Crab and Wasabi Sushi. A few items on the menu were not even available. A bit disappointing, but I am sure they will get their act... More

The hype is misleading... this place is a very average Japanese restaurant... 10 a penny in London or New York. Food dull. Service poor. Only memorable because it was overpriced.

Expensive meal but the food was unimaginative. The sushi and sushi I were very fresh but the other dishes were basic yet costly.

My wife and I came here on our last day in Sri Lanka to mix things up a bit after a couple weeks of curry. We'd read good reviews in a number of places so came to Nihonbashi for their set lunch. I've lived in New York, Sydney, and Los Angeles so I've eaten at a lot of good sushi... More

Extremely tasty and fresh food. The don buri and the sashimi platter were phenomenal! Must try in Colombo.
