Visited this place due to the huge recommendation from our friends, the environment was perfect, staff was perfect, location was perfect, wine menu was satisfactory but their Viktor Levi named wines were a bit too young for my taste, as I learned they harvest their own grapes and send them to Kavaklıdere Winery ( which is a very famous one... Very pleasant place in one of the best areas of Istanbul - Moda. They have their own wines, the one we tried was Viktor Levi 60 - it was fantastic and for a good price, considering alcohol in Turkey is generally overpriced. The service was excellent, too as well as the food.

Don't be fooled by the small "store Front". This was a fabulous dining experience in Istanbul. We ate in the very large covered patio near the fire-pit. It was very romantic yet casual. They serve many traditional Turkish foods and some "western" tastes as well. The food was fabulous. The prices were very reasonable for such a lovely setting and... More

Came here with a large party for a celebration and was impressed by the courtyard garden. There's even a fountain with turtles swimming in the water. The food was meh, but the service was good. The staff were very kind and accommodating of the < 2 year-old member of our party. We had made reservations in advance and had a... More

One of the greatest wine house and restaurant in Kadıköy area and full of great food. They serve well but before you go there, especially in the weekend evenings, you should make reservation.

Viktor Levi can offer a lovely garden and terrace which makes you feel you are away from the city. The inside decor reminds you of an old cozy restaurant, it is welcoming and warm in the cold. They have a lovely wine list and I have tried several, all have been excellent. Many of the wines are specially made for... More

What can I say but if you are in the Kadikoy area then this restaurant is a must in an area where there are a lot of very good restaurants to choose from. We visited twice on a recent visit in Istanbul and really enjoyed both visits and meals. It has a lovely atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable... More

There had been two beautiful historical wine houses off Istiklal in Pera, both from the beginning of the last century, where I regularly used to go. One was 'Pano' by a Greek wine merchant named Panayot Papadopoulos, the other 'Viktor Levi', by a Jewish wine merchant. Unfortunately both places do not exist anymore since a few years. At least 'Viktor... More
