Located in a little street close to the Topkapi palace area, we very much enjoyed the meal we had here.

The cafe is hiding behind the blue mosque, the shishas here are two type normal classic with water base filter and special signature with pink liquid filter (i think it is milk or something), but it is great. The apple press tea also highly recommend.

This place is very stylish and traditional. Loved the food (try Turkish food, not European, because Caesar Salad was not like it usually is), Adana Kebab is amazing and gozleme with cheese and potatoes. I also had some lemonade with mint. The coffee is so good and different. Menu available also in Spanish

I went here as a solo visitor, tried hookah out of curiousity. The staff were incredibly kind. They took the time to keep me company as I was alone. They showed me how to hookah because it was my first time. I had a thorough look at the menu...VERY AFFORDABLE. This neighborhood has exceptionally high prices but this restaurant looks... More

A nice cosy place located behind the Blue Mosque. The two brothers who run this restaurant/cafe are very welcoming and hospitable. The food is really nice and also the narghile/Shisha is pretty good too. A pot of traditional apple tea or sahlep accompanied by a Shisha is the perfect end to a long day. Especially for us as our hotel... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
