Everything was perfect and the owner gave gifts to my girlfriend each time. We eat there multiple times during our stay although we usually like to try new restaurants each day.

My family and I ate here twice during our two week trip to Turkey and we all agreed it was one of our favourite restaurants. We first ate here at the beginning of our trip as it was across the street from our hotel, Empress...More
Great food, great service at a VERY affordable price... got to meet the gracious & warm owner who also gave our group souvenirs & free apple tea for each one of us....Must try resto!

We chose the vegetarian options of tomato soup and moussaka - both very enjoyable and reasonably priced. The waiter (owner?) was so nice and relaxed and offered us fruit teas after the meal. Probably one of the nicest restaurants in this touristic area of Sultanamet.
I was staying nearby so Aloran was convenient. Also a friend had recommended eating here. I had a lovely vegetarian meal. Good traditional Turkish flavors. Pleasant service, hassle-free. I look forward to returning to try more of the extensive menu. Recommended.
