This cafe/restaurant is located in an amazing spot, right in the touristic centre and surrounded by trees. However, I have to admit that the food was nothing special, maybe even below average comparing to other food places in Istanbul. I expected a tastier meal for that price, but I guess we're paying just for the view.

Awesome place to be from morning 'till night time. Great Dervish dancers shows at night, the waiters are very courteous; always friendly and helpful in case you need some suggestions of where to go etc ... I always enjoy going to Dervish Cafe when I'm in Istanbul! I recommend Dervish Cafe!

Bought the donor chicken plate and the donor beef wrap... both were the worst tasting meals I have had in Istanbul... go for atmosphere and maybe a fresh juice, but don't buy the food

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and watch the dervish dancer. They do not serve alcohol, but the food and service was good.

After having lunch at a nearby location, we only stopped at the cafe for an ice cream. With the café facing the Sultan Ahmet mosque and surrounded by parkland makes this is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the views.

It is located in nice area full of tourists, restaurants, and sites such as basilica Cistern. It has an outdoor seating. I personally wasn't impressed with the food and prices, I guess you pay for location. C U AROUND

We found this place on the south east side of the Sultan Ahmet Square. In the evening, there is live music and whirling dervishes. Shisha pipe are available. Nice relaxing atmosphere...good food at a reasonable price without the pressure you get from the usual tourist traps.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
