We were expecting much better but; pizza was not tasty at all. Soup was good, service and prices are OK. Nice, little cozy restaurant, but main dish was really ordinary. They are trying to make Italian pizza but I am afraid because quality of ingredients it was not tasty.

Pizzeria 14 keeps things simple, despite being located in a posh neighborhood: 5 tables, a menu with a choice of pasta, pizza and salads, affordable prices (5 euro for the simplest pizza; 3.5 euro for small beer. Thats cheap in istanbul). ingredients imported from Italy and thin, crispy pizza bread. closes early!

Crusty pizzas, friendly staff, large choice of pizzas and toppings. They also serve pasta and salads. Nice place for a lunch break. Recommended.

This is a quite small shop, recently enlarged to 8 tables, but it has a friendly and warm atmosphere. The pizza is thin and very tasty, possibly one of the best in Istanbul. It's a bit far from the main shopping/visiting areas of Nisantasi, but the it is cheaper from the places you'd go there. Totally worth it!

Truly an unexpected surprise. A stone's throw away from the Amerikan Hospital, where we were visiting a friend, we entered this place simply because it looked clean and we were tired of Turkish food. What a fantastic little place. Crunchy wafer thin pizza, cooked perfectly with Italian music in the background. The Quattro formaggi I had was as good as... More

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
