It's nice, for Istanbul. The margarita was good, but the pitcher to pour it into the cups just kept spilling all over the table

Cozy intimate atmosphere full of character. Great guacamole, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. And great margaritas as well! Definitely some of the best Mexican/ Tex Mex food in Istanbul!

I really enjoyed the excellent Mexican food in this little restaurant in the heart of Istanbul. We had nachos, fajitas - really very nice. And of course also margaritas have to be part of an excellent Mexican dinner. Also the staff was very nice and giving full attention to the guest. Prices were also adequate.

We had a wonderful time at Picante. This cozy taqueria delivered delightful Mexican from margaritas and guacamole to chimichangas as burritos. We enjoyed the chimichangas and enchiladas.

I really wanna make this review short, since the bottom line is really simple: Reasonably priced, great staff and service, and of course, tasty. That's all you need in a restaurant, really. Cozy place, been there without resevertaions on Thursday, but would've reserved on the weekend. Go there if you're into Mexican food, you won't be disappointed.

Third time at this restaurant. Nice back street close to Tünel, one end of the famous Istiklal Street in downtown Istanbul. Very decent Mexican fare. Worth a visit if you fancy Mexican in Istanbul. Very small, so make sure to make a reservation. You're sure to be satisfied.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
