Walk along the Istiklal shopping district/street and look at the delicious food displayed. Somewhat self-serve, you'll enjoy this restaurant.

A very great local self-service restaurant in my experience. Nice, clean, delicious and based on normally price on Istiklal Street. Staffs are friendly, cashier is also smile with guests, no aggressive like some self-service restaurant I've been in Sultanahmet area. So I recommend everyone who go around there and wanna try a local Turkish foods.

It was a very nice surprise! Some friends suggested the place to us and I have to admit that it was probably the best meal we had during our stay in Istanbul! We tried many things ant they were all very tasty! Another thing to mention was the fact that they speak english and the prices are excellent!

Local catchy, positioned in the middle of Istiklal Caddesi, good food. The owner neglects the relationship with the tourist. I have discovered to have paid double the supper and to my application of explanations they have not wanted to give me explanations. Absolutely not recommended. Istanbul today 25may12

We were on a tour and went here with 5 other tour members. The phrase "family fast food" applies to restaurants that have many dishes ready to mix or cook with other ingredients, so it's fast food, but not quite. The dishes that we had were very good, prices were reasonable, and service (they brought the food to your table)... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
