Easy to find this busy take away joint just off Taksim square at start of Isiklal street. There are a few tables for sit down but dont count on an empty one at peak feeding time. We came here for the famous wet burger at 3TL. Small burger that was sort of wet with oily tamatoe sauce. Delicious. Meat patty... More

It's pretty simple. It is warm soggy burger in tomato sauce. They look gross but they taste great. Very inexpensive and just something you have to try while in Istanbul and Kızılkayalar Hamburger sells the best ones. It's tasty and inexpensive. It's a fun thing to check out, burgers sweating in a box.

Not my taste - I liked the bun better than the actual mean. The doner was respectable. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere fun.

After a night out or any time of the day, their local burger is a must try. You can also have other kebap rolls -doner- and fresh fruit juice

The though of a wet soggy burger may seem off putting, but your mouth will disagree once you take your first bite. Plus it's only 3tl, you can't go wrong.

We stopped by this place as we saw some interesting looking burgers (after passing by a few stalls). We ordered the hamburger. They do not look very appealing to eat. It was wet and oddly it tasted really good. And what's more it is cheap! They also sell other doners there too.

These wet burgers were good when sober but I bet they're even better when drunk. Moist, chewy, and garlicky, they’re not much to look at but they’re oddly appealing. We got the doner durum too but it wasn't as good as the wet burger.

You've been in Taksim all night, you danced and boozed like crazy, and morning is approaching, and feel like eating something? Here's the little place to go. Just next to Taksim Square, but be prepared for other hungry people like you, queued long to be fed. Just wait for the time to come, start with 3 hamburgers, or 4 if... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
