It was nice to have Asian , particularly Chinese cuisine during our Holy Land excursion for a change . More of fusion , adhering to Kosher standards I think. We had egg noodles, chicken roll , tofu , vegetables mushroom and the one I sort...More

We have been to Sheyan a number of times, and tonight was one of the best. We ordered the evening's specials of a sizzling steak platter and a lamb stir fry, which were all very good. The three of us shared a platter of rice...More

We ate at Sheyan a year ago and found it to be sorely lacking on this visit. While our food tasted fine, it arrived at the table so quickly it would appear that it was almost pre -made. It actually took longer to get the...More

Came for family lunch. Waiter was fine. Ordered tempura fried fish. Very heavy batter, way, way overdone. Tasted like food from a bad street vendor's fish and chips. Certainly was NOT tempura. Other diners were satisfied with their choices, but nothing special... be Waited fifteen...More

Service was fine, though wine was served by an Orthodox man (to make sure I knew it was opened by Sabbath keeping Jew), who simply put the bottle on the table; no pouring, no tasting, no asking us whether we like it/what we expected. The...More

We have just enjoyed a superbly cooked meal, with subtle seasoning, quality meat and vegetables, and good-sized portions. All in a warm, pleasant restaurant with excellent service. Will definitely return here.

Was here due to trip advisor recommendations and was not disappointed. Very good sushi (only the soy sauce was a little salty). Great stylish ambient. Very friendly and attentive staff. Not that cheap but where you can find cheap restaurants in Jerusalem?

What a surprise find! This was round the corner from our holiday apt so we popped in one night. My guide book said that 'asian' here often meant ' middle eastern' so this was not what we expected at all - proper full on Chinese...More
