This place is great for cheese lovers. And I am one.... The decoration is lovely with natural wood tables and the cheese selection and wine selection are fantastic. It is a bit expensive, though.

Then go to Bashar. Best cheeses, salads, wine, in old stone setting. Wish they woud open a branch in NYC!

I had a lunch at Basher a few months ago, and although we got there really close to the time they were supposed to shut down due to the Shabbat, they made their best to serve the group I was with. The food was really...More

This was the fourth or fifth time I have visited Basher, and it never disappoints. The service is very good and personal, they know what they are talking about - this is after all a wine and cheese restaurant - and the atmosphere is amazing....More

Not a big cheese person, but the menu was just too inviting. My French Camembert, baked in filo with drunken plum sauce was a delight to the palate. Mdw had the Gratin with portabello mushrooms and three cheeses...again...a delight. Great atmosphere and excellent wine list.

One of my favorite places for both food and drinks in Jerusalem without a doubt. A great chill vibe in a unique Jerusalem style setting. I often take out of town visitors here and they have always been impressed.

Unfortunately not Emma. To be honest I don´t actually think they accept reservations, since it is a quite small restaurant. I would definitely give it a try though and go there spontaneously.
