We enjoyed our dinner at the Blue Rooster but it wasn't what we were expecting. The food was a bit different and solid but nothing to write home about. We were given challah on Friday night and although I expected it to be some kind of special challah it was nothing of the sort. The salad, for example, had large chunks... More

We came on a last minute notice on a busy friday eve. The place was full and energetic. We were 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Fot starters we had the leaf salad and the greek salad. Both were fresh and well dressed. We also had the fish carpatchio which was excellent. For main dish the zipora fish was delicious as... More

We had a Saturday lunch here with family and were a party of five. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. We had three starters which we shared. They were the mushroom risotto, the chicken liver pate and the tuna ceviche which was particularly delicious. The main coursers were also good. I had the Denis fish (Sea Bream) which was... More

A respected chef, good track record, easy parking. What could go wrong ? Well, too many things. We arrived exactly on time, to find another couple waiting for their table. Within minutes others queued up, and soon we were four (separate) couples and a party of four, all with reservations, waiting for their tables. These things happen of course, but... More

This is the best meal I've ever had. I'm a vegetarian and we asked for chef's tasting and everything was delicious, fresh and seemed neverending. The wine and cocktails were tasty and the service was amazing.

Hard to give good reviews when service is so poor. Waited 18 minutes for a server to take a drink order, got 4 of the 6 wrong. Appetizer delivered before drinks arrived. Went thru 4 wait staff until one was competent for working with us

Gave a birthday present to my daughter and my son-in-law a coupon for a tasting dinner in this place, worth about twice the price of an ordinary dinner. It was a very saddening disappointment to hear about their experience: - No special dishes - very similar to the dishes we had when we were there yesterday. - Salads were served... More

An overly expansive deplorable experience we would not repeat. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday at noon on Friday. Turns out that they only serve very specific dishes when serving the deal and they give no other option. We were told the kitchen isn't prepared to serve any other dish at this time. Perhaps we should have walked out... More
