Over crowded, so noisy that you cannot talk with your friends around the table. You can neither hear the waiter. Food is very mediocre, no inspiration, cannot understand all the recommendations. Service was bad: we ordered a table outside but were forced by the hostess...to sit inside. The sides we ordered for the fish main course never arrived to the table. Stay away from this place!More

We eaten here a couple of times, it is a short bus ride/ taxi from Tel Aviv the restaurant is in the mall at Ramat Aviv being located just outside towards the rear. The restaurant is popular and tends to get very busy and sometimes...you may have to wait. The staff were courteous and efficient and very attentive. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and there is a good selection of fish on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the grilled fish option with a very smooth well rounded white wine. There are many poor restaurants in and around Tel Aviv especially for the tourist but this isn't one of them.More

Very generous portions. Excellent service. Food was really good! We had the grilled Bass filet. Others had the whole fish. Both were great. And the salads and sides superb.

The Denis fillet was excelent and so were the salads that comes before the main dish you order. The place was so full the service was not as good as the food.

Very crowded restaurant, you need to wait long before being seated. Excellent personnel, the food very good, taking into account that the kitchen is under great stress. Very generous portions!

We enjoyed the Derby Bar Dagim next to the Ramat Aviv Mall. Great service, excellent fish . The entree consists of various salads like herring, fried eggplant, ikra salad, white cheese spread, cabbage salad and more. For celebrating a birthday, club members get a small...bottle of wine gratis. Main dish is served with a tasty baked potato . We highly recommend the place. We keep on returning whenever in the area.More

We met another couple for dinner at the Derby Bar on Yigal Allon, Tel Aviv. The restaurant is located amidst a large office complex and many business lunches are conducted here. Maybe this accounts for the comfortable chairs and reasonable acoustics. Each of us chose...a different fish and we then selected the preparation method best suited to bring out the flavors. Labrak was the best, Denise very good, and the wait staff brought many salads, delicious bread, and were just the right amount of attentive. The restaurant is kosher and serves fish - its specialty- and meat. Thus no dairy dessserts. Mango sorbet cleansed the palate with just the right amount of sweetness. We were there almost 3 hours and no one rushed us. Excellent choice for fish lovers and conversationalists!More
