We had a most pleasant meal here of traditional chicken soup and pancakes stuffed with a mushroom filling. Very tasty and good value. Open on shabbat.

We went there with a friend to have lunch during our stay. The restaurant is lovely, the people are nice, and the portions are huge. The taste of the dishes is very good, the same like in Hungary. If you are hungry and want to eat something good I definitely recommend this restaurant!

It was a pleasant surprise to find out that an authentic , good Hungarian restaurant exists in Tel Aviv. All the Hungarian main dishes were delicious -- served with small dumplings and Hungarian cucumber salad. My cheese dumplings for desert were not freshly made, just reheated, too bad... Service was attentive and the value good. Recommended !

We are locals and came there after a hard day's work. Just as we entered we were greeted with a smile and an apology that the restaurant will be closing in the next half an hour. It didn't bother us, so we sat down and started browsing through the menu, which is filled with all kind of deliciousness :) We... More

This restaurant is a nice and homey place, with a warm, friendly, family like, yet a bit "pushy" service (you should try this and that etc. I felt like they were trying to make my order bigger than it was meant to be). The food: Large dishes, tasty, real home made Hungarian dishes, what is now termed "comforting food"...but in... More

I don't know much about Hungarian food, and the last time I visited a Hungarian restaurant was in Budapest 25 years ago. The reason I went to Tulip in Tel Aviv was because it was the closest one to my hotel... and what a surprise! Wonderful food and pleasant environment (although curbside area could be noisy at times). The server... More

I love to come to Tulip for dinner often, either with friends or with family. It's a small restaurant, serving traditional Hungarian dishes. The food is always great, nothing has ever left me disappointed. The prices are reasonable (mid-range). Finding a parking space is sometimes tricky in this area, as it's deep in the center of the city, so I'd... More
