I recently enjoyed a good meal here with friends after an absence of a year. The restaurant has not lost any of its attraction- good food and service and a nice wine list!

Don't get me wrong, the schnitzel was great. But finding great schnitzel in Israel is not really so hard to do. King George for instance has an amazing schnitzel. Its larger and cheaper and just as good in my opinion. Service at Cafe Noir was not great. We sat on the coverred porch and behind the hostess. We had to... More

The menu selections are mostly "continental"--grilled chicken, wiener schnitzel, fish, with Israeli touches (wonderful olives, olive oil). I especially liked the sea bream served over steamed green vegetables, all perfectly cooked even though spinach and broccoli for example call for different cooking times. Prices are reasonable, service is fast, and there is an excellent selection of wines by the glass.

The place is nicely set out with a great vibe and friendly waiters. The appetizers were the highlight of the dinner, we took the ceviche that came with tahini which was great! We also took the spicy tuna bruschetta. The pasta I took after could be improved, the pasta seemed too compact although the salsa was good.

I have visited this restaurant on each recent visit to tel aviv . Each time we have enjoyed the evening immensely They are famous for schnitzel either chicken or veal and in our party two had veal and two had chicken and all thoroughly enjoyed them especially with the mash. I had chicken liver with pappardelle and it was great.... More

Close to our hotel and was nice food in a pinch. Although they prefer reservations they will still try to seat you pretty quickly if they can which was very good. Lots of choices to eat, we liked expecially the Druize Pita appetizers. Very tasty and fresh.

Great restaurant, lovely atmosphere and really great options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Brasserie feel, but also very cool.

1. Went there with my spouse for a romantic calm evening and would go there again. 2. The food is not excellent, but very good. I think it's a bit expensive for what they deliver, but considering the good vibe of the place it's worth it. 3. We ate the chicken schnitzel which is a famous dish of the place.... More

We walked in without a reservation and were able to be seated at a table (although the hostess did graciously tell us when the table would be needed). We both had chicken schnitzel -- generous servings of both the chicken and vegetables. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly, and the prices very reasonable.

Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.
