This was our first trip to Jordan, and our last night of our holiday. It was also my birthday, so a superb way to celebrate with friends who live in Amman. Beit Sitti is a brilliant experience, fun, inclusive, with simple, yet delicious, food. Rayna was a great host and our local chef was just lovely. We had a great... More

We had a ton of fun at this cooking course. The instructor was engaging and seemed to enjoy what she was doing. The recipes used local products and were not too complicated. The home that you do the course in is beautiful and had a fantastic kitchen. They emailed us the recipes afterwards and we look forward to cooking them... More

Wonderful time spent with friends learning to cook local Jordanian food. The bonus is you learn the culture as well. The setting is the home of the owner's grandmother. It's an incredibly beautiful home, with family photos, and comfortable furniture. Bring your own wine to sip while cooking and learning about Jordanian food.

My husband and I attended this cooking school last night. We made a delicious Jordanian dinner. It was so fun to learn the techniques in mixing ingredients together, cutting vegetables and creating a fabulous meal. The best part was getting to eat our creation. For a fun evening and a great meal, this is a fun way to experience true... More

We went to Beit Sitti on our 2nd night in Amman, it was a lot of fun! We learnt a lot about Arabic cooking and the food was amazing. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating and the setting was perfect, in a cosy house with arabic decore. I highly reccomend anyone visiting Amman to do the cooking class at... More

We have been living in the Middle East for over 5 years, and I can say without a doubt that this has been our favorite dining experience so far. A cozy, beautiful setting, delightful hostess, and incredible authentic Jordanian food. Thank you so much for a memorable night!

Bait Sitti is a must-do experience in Amman. Our group learned to make delicious home-made Jordanian food in a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. The dishes were made of fresh, local ingredients. The recipes were not too complicated, making it possible to attempt to make them at home. A great place to bring a group of friends or visitors to the... More

Managed to book for 3 to introduce a business partner to Jordanian cooking, ended up as a team building activity; highly interactive, keeps mind off work, laughter, jokes and good company. Got introduced to three other foreigners visiting Jordan for different reasons , got by a fancy dinner, made by us, on a Mideastern cultural table carrying an international conversation.

Beit Sitti ("my grandmother's house") is a great little place in the old center of Amman where they host Arabic cooking lessons. They'll accommodate anything from one person to large groups and will teach you to make any dish you're interested in. The restaurant feels like a home - and most likely was - complete with decades-old family photos on... More
