Friendly service, quite an extensive menu. Simple, tasty food. There's even a resident troubadour who comes and sings you a song at your table (your choice of Armenian or Arabic). Best stuffed eggplants I had anywhere in Lebanon, incidentally, and try the 'candy floss' dessert for a real treat.

What can you ask for more than great food, great mood and wonderful live oud music? This place has it all. The food, although the plates have rather small quantities, is really good and average in price. You get to taste original Armenian food but you can also choose from traditional Lebanese dishes, so all tastes can be satisfied. The... More

High quality food and service along with acceptable prices that are second to none in the Lebanon. Al-Mayas has a unique dining atmosphere in the Capital city of Beirut. Very cozy and helpful service. The menu should be tried entirely. They have the best Manti out of Armenia.

One of the reasons I look forward to visiting Beirut, is to dine in Mayas. Best Armenian food and experience in town! The kabab karaz is a must!! So is everything else on their menu :p.

Mayas is and will always be my favorite Armenian food place to be. Located in the heart of the city in a very rustic road/neighborhood. The venue is nicely decorated and you feel the warmth of the restaurant through its staff. very professional staff and alert. The food is mouth watering and generous. I recommend the mante and soubereg! Perfect... More

I cannot pay a visit to Beirut without going there. It's the best Armenian food. I love the kebe sagyeah, the bird egg on a toast, kofta with cherry, shish barak....... Etc everything is soooo delicious. You have to call and make a reservation in advance especially if you are a big group.

Can't be in Beirut without trying Mayas in Ashrafiyeh. Lebanese cuisine with an Armenian twist in a cozy setting. Try the Mante, and Kibbeh sajjiyeh, they're awesome. Even the olives special mix is so good with the appetizers, make sure you ask for it. The dice cut fillet hot appetizer is a must for sure. A very pleasant dining experience.... More

We decided to leave it entirely to the super knowledgable waiter to chose the food and drinks. It was amazing and spot on. He answered all questions linked to what the different dishes contained and knew exactly what to pair. Happy to see that such high quality rests still exist in Lebanon and can compete with those in major cities... More
