It's amazing when a restaurant is consistent in excellence. It is still the best seafood place with so much flavor and freshness. Le Phenicien starters are by far the best in town and the service is still among the most professional.

One of my favorite apetizers was the fresh... More

Came here on the back of the positive reviews about the seafood. The roe had run out so the waiter offered to bring a selection of mezze to start. We were brought Dynamite shrimp and grilled octopus, both of which had clearly been reheated in the microwave. We were also given a salad with crab sticks and mango and apple,... More

This was one of the most pleasant culinary experiences in recent memory. Le Phenicien in Beirut has a very innovative menu, with seafood versions of many classical Lebanese dishes that one will not find anywhere else because they were invented by the owner, Habib Hadid. The seafood falafel was a winner, as was the fish shawarma, the smoked pressed roe... More

Since it is close to where we work , we decided to go there. It looks like an old restaurant but the welcoming is warm and authentic. We ordered a variety of mezza like shrimps, potatoes, calamri....they were good but ibfelt that for the price the portion is small so we requested some additional plates for some items. The main... Owner is originally from Tyre, hence he has two of them, Old Tyre and Beirut (Sin el FIL). Seafood buffet on sundays, exquisite a la carte menu. Expect refined food!!
