The best sushi we had in Lebanon and so far in many places outside it. Definitely try it! Although it is rather pricey (a set of 4 rolls costs around $15-20), it will be worth every dime you spend! Highly recommend visiting this place! However, be aware to book in advance, as despite the relatively high price tag it is... More

The best Japanese restaurant in town and one of the best Asian restaurants I've ever tasted in the world! Exquisite Asian cuisine with some jaw dropping specialties.

It used to be my favorite, not after today's lunch. Service was bad, we had to ask for our drinks twice. What a sushi restaurant that ask u if u need soy, or ginger those should come by default !! We don't have to ask for it.

It doesn't matter if you go there during weekdays or weekends, Kampai is always full, and this is due to the great food they serve including some unique appetizers. If you like Sushi, then this is the place to go.

One of my favorite places for sushi in Beirut. The restaurant is really posh and the food is amazing, especially some of their specialty rolls and salads. A bit on the pricey side but worth the splurge.

It's good Japanese food and menu diversity, but restaurant could do with better service at the door with a less rude host / hostess, with a less singing cooking crew, and with a faster / more helpful waiters. Too bad the reputation is overrated and has been dwindling while it still claims to be the top Japanese restaurant in down.... More

Kampai is a Japanese sushi restaurant whose name means "cheers" in the mother tongue. Though most guests seek out Kampai for its deliriously delicious sushi, the traditional Japanese cooking (you know, the hot stuff!) Is also noteworthy. Don't miss the siu mai and gyoza dumplings-a few of these melt-in-your-mouth savory bundles, stuffed with your choice of shrimp, fresh crab, chicken, wagyu, or shiitake, will sufficiently whet your appetite for the subsequent course. Here, we recommend the Kampai Maksushi, an assembly of tender scallop wrapped in a lightly-fried panko crust and topped with grilled salmon. Perfection.
