By far, one of the best places for a homemade Syrian meal in the old city despite all the current hardship. Since the soup, all the way through the main courses and then to the desserts, everything was fresh and full of flavor. I wholeheartedly recommend the Kebab Hindi. It's laockated in the first half of the first ally on the first left turn, if you're walking through Qemaria street twards Omaiad mosque. Great Arabic food, but really small for a resturant.

they have home cooked meals which is so yummmy I adore this place the prices so goood they have different dishes everyday I really enjoyed the food over there PERFECT

A small restaurant serving very cheap and very teasty local food. To hectic and small for a nice and relaxed meal, but great for lunch or a quick dinner.
