Mahroosh is a great place, especially if you're on a budget. You should know that they don't serve Shawarmas until after 6pm, I think. I used to live in Abu Dhabi for four years, and this was a go to place any time. I'd take anyone who visited me there too. Grape leaves, chicken shawarmas, falafel sandwiches are all great... More

We've lived in Abu Dhabi for one year now, and Mahroosh is one of our favorite spots. Great hummos, falafel, shwarma, stuffed grape leaves, and "machine" chicken that is rotisseried. This comes with with hummos and is a favorite take-away when we don't want to cook. Did I mention it is priced very reasonably? I may go there for lunch... More

Yes, definitely the best shawarmas in Abu Dhabi, in not the entire world. Every time I am out with the friends, we just stop beside the restaurant, hidden amongst buildings in the corniche. Used to live in the UAE up until the end of the 90s' and as a family we used to go there every once in a while. It serves the best Shawerma and Falafel sandwiches I had ever tasted in my life. It's now a bit not obvious to find, but it used to be across the street from the... More

Their Chicken mexican shawarmas are .. Simply the best in UAE!! The filafels are simply delicious and mouth watering. TRY IT and you are sure that nothing else will taste as good. Parking outside the restaurant is no longer a problem ever since paid parking has been introduced in the area.
