We were the only diners and went because of the taxi driver's suggestion and excellent views on TA. I ordered their special burger and it was the saltiest, most overlooked mound of beef I think I've ever had. My friends spaghetti Del Mar was also really underwhelming. She didn't eat much of it but wanted to take it back to... More

I really enjoyed the live band they had on stage. The bad side was waiting half an hour for an outrageously overpriced beer and then also being short changed by the barman, and when you mention it to him, he just pulls up his shoulders.

The restaurant is located in front of the Port of the Punta del Leste. Beautiful place to drink a good beer and to eat. The meat is a classic dish at this restaurant and I recommend it. There are also different drinks that you can choose. Very nice place.

We went off season, not so many bars in town were open. And this place still was crowded. Good music and beverage.

I went here on October 1st. It is still off season and some restaurants didn't open at all, even though it was a Saturday night. Even the McDonald's in town is closed. This place was open and still had customers. The atmosphere is pretty cool, and it was nice and warm on a cold night. The burger was pretty good... More

Moby Dick has been there for centuries. With its fireplace and cozy athmosphere is great at this time of the year when the season is over and wind blows from the south Atlantic seas. In summer with its air non-conformist more like being in south florida than the tropics is a must for the young as well as the not... More

Nothing special, just a touristy English pub. But was the only place open near our hotel, so we shared a Moby Dick pizza. It was pretty tasty, and quite large. I wouldn't suggest visiting based on the pizza, but if you find yourself nearby and are scared off by the other restaurants (Soho resto-bar is particularly bad), this is a... More

Stopped to have lunch on what turned out to be a busy lunch service for the restaurant. They had people turning up at different times from a large group (maybe a bus tour?) and the staff had trouble remembering who ordered what. Interesting watching them walk around with plates of food and checking with each other as to where the... More

We came here twice, once for late night drinks, once for dinner. We had a blast at the bar, chatting with the bartenders and enjoying the awesomely random music selections. Dinner outside was just ok, unremarkable bar food for the most part.

Facing Punta del Este harbor, this pub has an extended terrace in front and upstairs. The service is very friendly and you can stop for even a very short meal.
