This tiny resturant had a great atmosphere, friendly the staff was friendly, attentive and helpful . The have an English menu. We had the traditional chicken stew, ajiaco, and it was mild yet tasty. At the counter they sell containers of a camel concoction called man jar blanco, it really yummy!

Our friends had visited this teeny restaurant the day before we arrived and had no qualms going back for another lunch of ajiaco. We had read about this traditional soup and knew that Mama Lupe's was a great spot to get it and we were not disappointed. It was a huge bowl with a side of rice and half of... More

Adorable restaurant. Good food, great prices. In the heart of downtown Bogota. Use google map to find it. its just a little doorway and a very small place. We had a great lunch - had the steak and Gato Negro wine! very pleasant experience - glad we didn't miss it!

We stopped in this traditional restaurant because we were nearby and the reviews were good. It did not disappoint. The prices were reasonable and the food was great! We had the churrasco, but all the other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked delicious also. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again if I visit Bogota in the future.

We were a bit unsure about stopping in here as it looked very touristy but the food was delicious and decently priced. Th Ajiaco soups was incredible! We also had tamales which were tasty and a great deal at 6k pesos. But oh the Ajiaco!!! So good!!

This is one of the 3 traditional restaurants on Calle 11. All 3 have the same menu, so it the experience will be the same. We walked in on a rainy day and ordered the Ajiaco soup, a typical Colombian dish. All have wifi and are mirror images of each other. It doesn't matter which restaurant you try for traditional... My brother and I visited Mama Lupe today and were extremely impressed with the Ajiaco soup. The soup was huge - chicken and potatoes to which we added in the sides of avacado, rice and capers. It was one of the best meals we have had in Colombia. Trying this traditional dish is a must do when you are in... More

We came here right after spending some time at the gold museum and we're both starving. We got the tamale, Ajiaco and grilled chicken with two soft drinks for about 50,000 pesos including tip. The Ajiaco was phenomenal and everybody around us seemed to have ordered the same thing, the Tamale was also great though a little too carb heavy... More

This is a great place to get some real authentic Colombian food. The Ajiaco here is amazing. I highly recommend trying it. Great service and prices are very reasonable. This is a good place to stop off and grab lunch if you're in la Candelaria.

This is a small, local restaurant, with just a couple of tables and chairs. Nice atmosphere with local music and decoration. Kind service. Recommended by our local guide to test the rijaco, typical soup from bogota made of three kinds of potatoes, corn, chiken, cream... Feel free to order one for two :-)
