The spot is right by the beach and you can watch kitsurfers while you eat!!! I might not recommend this place for vegans although is has maybe a vegetarian option or two, but for others the food is very decent, a bit on the expensive side but i suppose you pay for the location! Not my favorite place for food... More

We enjoyed a few nice, cold drinks and snacks here while staying in hotel Le Meridien, and you cannot beat the location; next to the beach with great views of the sea. Service is good, considering they are covering a large area outside and people coming/going all the time. We only ate snacks, so we cannot comment on any of... More

The three of us each had a main course - delivious local fish / excellent 'steak-frites' - with a green side salad. We also each had a dessert comprised of a small coffee with several yummy mini-desserts. All together, including a glass of wine, the three meals totalled approximately $200 AUD. Not cheap but worth the view. Apart from the... More

Great lunch here with much more choice for a vegetarian than I had in our accommodation. Set right on the beach. Excellent service and ambience.

my partner and i staying in house ate here two days in a row. both days we were seated then forgotten about having to flag someone down 20 minutes later to ask if we could please order. it seemed like a hassle for the waitress to come over and speak to us. the food came approx 20 minutes later followed... The setting is awesome but food is terrible. The food is all reheated or pre made. It took 5 minutes for food to arrive and 20 for the drinks. I'd rather wait for fresh food than have this reheated, wilted rubbish. To top it off, the staff seem like they hate being there. It's convenient to eat here when in... More

Walking along the beach we decided to stop into this restaurant, beautiful location looking out to sea. Service was lacking a little however the staff were friendly, alcohol was very expensive so we skipped that in favor of a bar afterwards. Food was quite expensive for Aussie standards but i think for Noumea it was about right. The food that... More

The view was spectacular. The beer was cold. Service was really poor. Maybe it's something that should be expected being on a tropical island? But when you're paying $10 for a beer, $20 for a cocktail and $30 for a sandwich, I'm kind of expecting a little more. Go for the view and a drink but don't go if you're... More

Description
One of the most sought-after beachside restaurants in Nouméa, Le Faré Restaurant is the ultimate place to an al fresco lunch with a magnificent view of the beautiful Anse Vata bay its beaches and windsurfers. Inspired by traditional Melanesian style architecture with its sculpted pillars and thatched roof, Le Faré is an open-air space where you can lie back on a lounge chair and sip a freshly-squeezed tropical juice until sunset. It is also the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing salad, fresh grilled fish or a sumptuous BBQ lunch on the deck overlooking the beach.
