This restaurant is in the Park Royal Hotel. Went to the restaurant quite late as had only just arrived. Service was pleasant and efficient. Cost was a little expensive.

It is quite tough to find great tasting authentic Japanese food in Yangon. Fortunately, I chanced upon Shiki-Tei. Food and service are great, and they have all-you-can-eat buffet dinner as well.

We enjoyed the buffet dinner and found it very nice. Sushi and meat very good quality and tasty. Would recommend the buffet, however haven't tried the a la carte. Dessert was not really top, but was not an issue for us. Ambiance and service were impeccable .

Been struggling to find a nice Japanese restaurant in Yangon. Finally stumbled upon Shiki-Tei and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and served relatively quickly. Portions were reasonable and the head chef is from Japan. The food was fresh and authentic. The Salmon Sashimi was a particular highlight. The ambience was lovely and relaxing. The staff were very helpful... More

Today had dinner at Shiki-Tei and I was pleasantly surprised by the large buffet with a real high quality and variety, that you will find on the Sunday evening. The buffet offers a real huge selection of sushi, sashimi, tempura, noodles, soups, grilled meet, vegetables and fish, hotpot, fresh fruit, ice cream, cakes, salads and fusion dishes. Sure normally I... More

The food is meh, but its Yangon. You have to appreciate the clean environment. The hot pot is nothing to write home about.

we didn't want to venture out too much so ate at Shiki-Tei. Have to say the food was just average. Then again everyone else was having the buffet and we ordered a la carte, so I don't know if the buffet was better. Probably better to explore around the area and try a local restaurant serving Myanmar food...

This restaurant boasts a genuine Japanese chef and the food here is fresh and very good . It is at a level of a worthwhile restaurant in Bangkok - so pretty fine . Some of the Sashimi dishes are excellent and they have a fine selection of sake and sochus.

It is rare to find a Japanese buffet yet authentic restaurant in Yangon but Shiki-Tei is the one that worth the name to be called the best Japanese buffet in Yangon. They have lots of verities for sashimi, grilled seafoods, sushi & yummy desserts during its buffet dinner. Get yourself a premium Kirin beer or sake and I am sure... More
