What a friendly place. Your are welcomed by a 'student' who is supervised by a 'teacher' - a volunteer helping train marginalised adolescents in a project aiming to build the capacity of local young people and to achieve self-sustainability. And both students and trainers are...More

A simple recipe: tasty food + friendly staff = a very enjoyable dining experience. We had some local beer with one chicken and one tofu stirfry with rice. Really enjoyed the food & the service was great!

The best food in Yangon. No competition. I'd keep going there even if it wasn't for the great cause. Very friendly and professional staff. Their grilled eggplant salad and Burmese desserts sent me to heaven. I also saw the kitchen and it was very clean.

The best local cuisine in Yangon that I got to try. This is super simple, but absolutely fantastic and worth the effort to try and find it. The theme of helping young people makes it so much more amazing and they were great in serving.

Ended up here based on the review on this site and were not disappointed. While you are made aware that this is a vocational training restaurant, there is no need to be charitable about the food. We shared a light and lemony soup, a diakon...More

The set up is very tastefully done with art pieces. This training restaurant & art gallery by group of volunteers combined a great social cause and great taste! Highly recommended for the local Shan food & supporting the kids.

Linkage Restaurant is a social project as well as a link to Forever Humanitarian & Development Projects, a volunteer group founded in 2010. It is a pretty corner in crowded downtown of Yangon, Myanmar where you can enjoy a great collection of Myanmar Fine Art (paintings) and delicious food prepared and served by enthusiastic young adolescents with dignity!
