We came here on a weekday at about 5pm so there wasn't a huge queue to get in. We enjoyed the experience and particularly enjoyed the samgyetang. Worth a try if you visit Seoul, particularly as it's close to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Arrived at 11:30am and started ordering a chicken ginseng soup with ginseng roots (22,000won / 22usd) in around 10mins time. The soup wasn’t sizzling hot when served. After eating for awhile, at around 11:55am, I asked the server for a kindness to reheat it for...More

We went here with our private guide. He ordered for us. Most servers/restaurant in S. Korea don’t speak English (or maybe they pretend they don’t). They were more attentive to their native speaking customers. We had to ask for things. And I do not think...More

I have been going to this sam-gye-tang specialty restaurant and it maintains the same good old taste. There are a lot of tourists therefore you might want to check some other hours besides lunch or dinner time to skip the waiting line.

I nearly fainted when I saw the long line queuing under the hot sun. But luckily the queue moved quite quickly and we were in the line for about 20mins. There was also minimum order for each person. The ginseng soup was really very nice,...More

You can order the ginseng chicken for the adults & maybe side dish for the kids. They have the nice pancakes. You can have the option to sit on chairs though they tend to fill up the room for sitting on the floor.
