We came here for the dumplings and noodles and weren’t disappointed! Conveniently located around the corner from the palace, large restaurant with super efficient service. The menu is a tad limited as highlighted previously but for a quick filling meal it’s a great option (plus...More

I disagree with the opinion that the food is great it was OK but nothing more. That said its good value for the money (ie cheap)

Amazing kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and mandu (dumplings) that are well worth the trip! This restaurant is located right next to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, which are both interesting sites. The kalguksu here is delicious, and the mandu are massive. Prices are reasonable,...More

Really great dumpling soup. Worth the 10 to 15 minute queue outside for the Michelin recommendation Very filling and large portions for a great price

I didn’t realize this was a Michelin Star Restaurant until I saw the logo! Kalguksu and Mandu Soup were served in big portion and really yummy! The price also reasonable. Although you had to queue, it was really worth to try!

Our hotel concierge recommend this place for lunch after our morning visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Folk Museum. It has a very simple menu with English, clean dining room, prompt service, food brought to table within 3 minutes of ordering, pleasant enough simple soup...More

A block from Contemporary Museum, across from Palace. Not to be missed for lunch. The traditional dumplings are larger than dim sum so don't order too much.

Service and food was amazing. Would definitely come back. Across the street from the museums. We had the dumplings and Kalguksu soup.

Rustic and traditional feel to the place. Sat on the traditional Korean 'tatami' Portions of the dumplings and the soup are massive so make sure you do not over order.. overall a great experience

My Korean importer recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Wonderful noodles, perfectly made and cooked and some of the best dumplings I've tasted. This is true Korean cuisine evidenced by the fact that I was perhaps the only foreigner there. Truly a great...More

Samcheongdong / Bukchon
This historic neighbourhood was traditionally home to
Seoul’s middle and upper-classes. Now it’s most famed
for its clusters of beautiful, traditional Korean
homes (called hanok), many of which are found in
Bukchon. Many of these homes have now been converted
into restaurants, cafes, shops, and even guesthouses,
and their unique architecture offers a look at Korea’s
traditional beauty. Samcheongdong’s main and side
