I'm an expat living in Seoul, and I've been to Min's a number of times. It's a great place to take guests or first time visitors to Seoul. The restaurant and grounds are traditional as is the food. You don't have to sit on the floor if you don't want to, as there are many private rooms with western style... More

You would expect some traditional cuisine or at least inventive fusion food in this superb house. What you get, on top of a lousy service is average pseudo French food and pricey wine.

Highly recommended, if a little surreal. To begin with we'd just travelled from the UK on the way to Australia so were suffering a little bit adjusting to the time. The location is a very traditional Korean house in the middle of the city, staffed by excellent front of house folks in a pretty traditional Korean style but serving very... More

The setting of this place is just gorgeous as it's in an old korean house. Wonderful chandeliers and butterfly wallpaper. Made me think that I was an empress enjoying her dinner in her own palace. Food and service was impeccable. I had the 5 course set menu which in my opinion is just the right size for a good dinner.... More

This is a must, if you are planning a special dinner out. The setting is charming and the food excellent and interesting, a fusion of french and korean. It is pricey but you will not have any regrets.

Great food set in very traditional Korean environment. The place was able to accommodate a group of close to 20 people and served in a quick timely manner.

Wonderful way to enjoy great Korean food, beautifully prepared. The restaurant is quite stunning, and in a lively area nearby.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seoul. It's not inexpensive, but well worth the price. The food is a fusion fare that doesn't compromise the Korean taste - the entire meal is very well crafted and served. I try to go to Min's Club every time I'm in Seoul, for lunch or dinner, and have taken my aunt... More

Found it on a map, near our hotel. Great dinner, wine & atmosphere. Wine a bit pricy, but the food & service was first class. Alacart was the was to go. We spent 1.5 hrs over dinner chatting & celebrating our trip to Korea & japan. The service delivered the food at just the right intervals and all the flavours... More

We were taken to this restaurant by friends who are locals and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was excellent (with the fixed price menu being the better value option) with very good service. The building is an old style Korean house which is lovely. The only thing to take into account is that we were taken to this restaurant... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.
