The food tastes good at Le Caire 1940 but not the best Egyptian grill house plus it is pretty expensive If you are looking for the a great kebab experience and it's your first time in Egypt I'd suggest you keep looking this is not your stop

Located in one of Cairo best areas, nevertheless it does not represent a good choice. I always fear empty restaurants, eating there would probably be risky. The restaurants lies in an apartment, used as a restaurant with somehow conservative decorations. The food was not bad and the price average. I would think twice before going there again.

The restaurant is quite cheap, good for a few sheesha puffs. The atmosphere is not bad either. Had good selection in he menu as a caffe but wouldn't eat there.
