The place is simply lively throughout. The food and the drinks all are at par with the ambience and the music and fun in this club!! They also have a saloon on the 1st deck... The juggling, drinks and the food all are just just...amazing!More
The place has the vibe ...it has energy and is fun ... a cool hangout . The burger shacks had good juicy fresh burgers . Music is good , the place is divided in sections and has corners with interesting stories. will be back ....Definately recommended .More
The Alchemist is a great place to spend a few hours and worth the repeat visits. Set up in a courtyard among large trees and plants, it really gives you an great outdoor feel, enjoying the sun and breeze in comfort. The bar has access...to a few food vendors, all of whom will visit your table with a menu and take your order. Spanish tapas, pizza, wings and one of the best burger experiences in Nairobi are all there. The Happy Hour runs from 1pm to 6pm and the prices cannot be beat. Weekends get rather busy late afternoon, so come early to grab your favourite spot; but there is usually lots of room upstairs. A must see.More

I went here for my last night in Nairobi. The popular African pop group Elani was the live music for the evening. There are food trucks and vendors when you first enter the bar. Waitstaff was a bit rude but the veggie burger was tasty....Visit the Alchemist for a taste of Nairobi nightlife!More
It a great place to go for the evening or at night!There are 3 bars and 3 food trucks all in one compound. We got there around 7 and first ate dinner and chilled. The Mexican food truck had good vegetarian tacos although they are...spicy which they didn’t tell us when we ordered. The Kenyan chicken burger at the burger food truck was excellent! One of the best burgers we have had in Kenya! Overall the place has great customer service! You can sit anywhere in the compound and services from all the food trucks will come to your table and you order from them. We went on a Friday and around 9 the Dj starts playing and the place turns into a club so you can hit the dance floor. It was a great evening !More

Awful food from the German Sausage place. Cold und not cooked. After complaining about it you will still get the full bill. The Alchemist Bar waiters a ripping you off and you better check your bill and at what time the happy hour starts. And...if you complain you will be called a liar. I’m was going there for more than a year now, but the quality and service is going down. This is also including the hygiene.More

A totally different and enjoyable hangout! They have various food trucks and stations - my favorite being Mama Rock's and the Bistro. Been here several times.
The place has a vintage kind of vibe going on. The music is great and the tiny food bars offer great food. Serious parking problems. Might need to park at Sarit.
More an open air yard with a stage in one corner and surrounded by a selection of bars and food trucks. They have a couple of nice craft beers, the service is good and burgers excellent. What is not to like?
We went to a fun Friday party there. It was packed and drinks were pricey but good. Only downside was that the DJ played sooooo much American music. (Although the crowd seemed to enjoy it.) Would have enjoyed more afrobeats!!! Definitely a fun place to...dance though- if you don’t mind being shoved in the line to get in and shoved on the dancefloor too. But the crowd was fun otherwise. Ps. Don’t eat shawama from the food truck though or you’ll be visiting the toilet for sure.More

Definitely worth a visit next time! However, be warned as the place is cold at night. Come wearing warm clothes especially during the cold seasons.
