I've been to Habesha a few times over the years, and recently went with a large group on a business trip. It reminded just how good this place is! If you want to share huge injera among friends, with lots of tasty sides, this is the place for you! Atmosphere is nice and spacious, friendly staff and the food is... More

I am not an Ethopian food expert, but the food here was good and quantities are large. Also, its a place you should go with friends or family as you would need to share food and eat from the same big plate, so probably not a place to go with acquaintances or work friends.

We ate here while staying in Nairobi for a mission trip. There were about 8 of us so we had a lot different dishes to share. Everything on the table was excellent. The staff was friendly. We ate here twice and it was good both times.

If you like spicy food as well as eating with your hands then this is the right place. The range of Ethiopian dishes offered is excellent and well prepare. I went there with some friends and the service was quick and the food even better. It is a must try for anybody looking for and interesting dinning experience.

Every time we feel like eating something special, we go to his place. And it never disappointed us in more than 4 years. Usually we order injera with lentil, bean, meat, and vegetable sauces piled on top. Mm mm mm! I am writing this text and mouthwatering at the same time. Injera is the best Ethiopian dish I believe. It's... More

I have been here several times over the years and it never disappoints. We had the mixed meat and vegetarian platter - little mounds of delicious food on the big piece of injera, the slightly sour Ethiopian 'pancake' made from the grain called teff. My husband had a fish option separately and enjoyed the Ethiopian wine which is a kind... More

This is a really relaxed and large open restaurant. Mixed clientel. Waiters are pleasant and friendly. Food is great. If you like Ethiopian, this great food. Went for the mixed plate as you get different types of wat with the injera and therefore a taste of everything.

Habesha is a cool joint. Never disappoints. Its ideal for families and couples. The outside patio is great, just that it can get chilly at night. The service and staff are top notch. The cuisine is sumptuous. Overall:You get value for your money.

Really enjoyed the mixed meat platter and the vegetarian platter. The waiters are kind and friendly. The environment is casual and green--which is nice in a city like Nairobi. Great for a group lunch and when you want to sit back and enjoy the food and your family & friends.
