We celebrated Burns' night with our club in Pango restaurant recently. The Chef and his team made this into an exceptional night indeed! The presentation of the traditional Haggis was slightly modified and what is in fact a stuffed stomach turned into a work of art! The rest of the meal was as delicious as this starter, to close with... More

Booked the Pango restaurant for a small family lunch for 14 people. Very helpfull booking agent who explained all details. Waiters were very professionel and friendly. Food was excellent and the dessert very suprisingly and from the highest level. Definitly to book for an special event or ocassion.

I had a multi-course business dinner at the Pango Brasserie. The Fairview Hotel is the classic colonial-era British hotel in Nairobi. it's well worth visiting for its history and atmosphere. The meal, presentation and service were exquisite. The restaurant has wooden-beamed, pitched ceilings. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Worth going out of your way to experience.

Given the reviews listed here, the ambience and the prices on the menu (by far the highest we've see in Nairobi) expectations were high... Sadly the service was confused- with 4 different waiters tripping over each other asking us the same questions. Well-meant, but not appropriate in a 4 star restaurant. Neither was the fact that no one knew what... More

Ambience and service at the Restaurant are wonderful and hence four stars. However for the prices charged the food should have been excellent, but it was just above average. Improve the food and it will be worth it.

Just Delicious! Great staff. Outstanding wine list. Cheff came out to talk to us! They did accommodate my vegan lifestyle making a delicious special meal! Great for special occasions.

Pango's always one of my favourites in Nairobi. It sits in the Fairview Hotel, and as that's opposite the Israeli Embassy, you're probably in one of the safest places in town. Food-wise, I have never been disappointed. The business lunch menu is simply the best value for money in Nairobi, with the a la carte dining more heftily priced, but... More

Great service from attentive staff. Welcome drink . Complete menu can recommend the confit chicken leg starter and tenderloin for main. Crepe Suzette is an expierences not just desert. Good wine list but pricey

The pepper steak with the sauce made at the table was incredible. Halibut also tasty. The best is the atmosphere. The staff are incredible. So nice. Enjoyed a 4 hour dinner here just enjoying all the food and intimacy of the restaurant. The tiers of chocolates was such a nice way to end this meal. The best meal we had... More

Pango has always been sort of pipe dream for me. Probably the finest dining in town, or at least one of the very few. Have been there on a very special occasions in the past, it is certainly not a cheap affair, that's why. Older chef retired, and with him apparently something special gone. Let me, however, jump right to... More
