Java Houses can be found around Nairobi and beyond. They have good food, both African and Western. Reasonable prices, good selection.

The place serves great food. I had breakfast here on a number of occasions. The oat meal, eggs, toast, coffee etc. The staff is attentive too. They publicise free wi-fi, but I could never get it working

The Downtown Java house is a great place to visit when in Nairobi. It's a great place to meet friends, or to chill and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee. I have frequented Java for some years now. I don't use coffee but I just love their carrot cake,no other restaurant does it like Java. The mmilkshake too is quite good though the quality has gone down lately. All in all, a nice place with good service
