My husband and I had planned a long, luxurious dinner after flying into Nairobi from Mafia Island (after three weeks of safari) taking time before our flight home to the USA, but we underestimated the traffic in Nairobi and ended up with a small window...of time to eat. We explained our situation to the waitress and asked for advice on meal selection. The next thing we knew the chef was at our table making recommendations and assuring us we would eat well! He attended to everything including the service of our dinner which was delicious and came with time to enjoy it. We have never had such attention from a chef who truly cared about the quality of his food and our enjoyment of it. The ambiance of Eagles The Steak House is lovely; the outside deck in the park must be grand in the daytime with animal viewing and what we saw of the Hotel Ole Sereni made us wish we had stayed there.More

As good as I remember? YES Great view? YES Saw animals? YES Great service? YES Lunch offer? YES Would I go back again? YES Must try this place if you are in Nairobi, preferably during daylight at lunch hours hours. Although they did have a...live band after 6 My review form 2018: The best food I have had in Nairobi, I came back four times! I can’t understand why there aren’t many reviews on this place, i’m guessing due to the location being a little far from the city centre. They even have a lunchtime offer which is definitely worth trying, the carpaccio was exquisite, and steak on point.. Ambiance is wonderful, with a 4th floor terrace view of the Nairobi National Park, if you are lucky you will see animals roaming around. Service was good, the manager Fatima passed by to check everything is good. I would definitely aim to go there when I am back before anything else! Can’t recommend this place enough. To note, my colleague who is a foodie from Europe said their salmon was the best she ever had.More

I had a nice lunch here. Service was excellent and food good, and imaginative. You are up high, and it overlooks the reserve, plus, you can sit outside.

The food is amazing... The best mushroom soup I have ever eaten. The lamb chops are divine and the seared salmon is out of this world. A great selection of wines, though pricey... Desserts are really good. The "sounds of the bush" add to the...ambience. The live band was really good as well. People were dancing... A great experience overall.More

We were taken to this restaurant by our tour guide from Samson Safaris. It was our first time in Kenya and on the African Continent as a whole and we were really eager to see what Kenya offered in terms of new food for us...to try. I think taking us here was a great first introduction to amazing Kenyan food. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and the drinks were good. Best of all you have a full view of the National Park while you eat. If you are a photographer this is the place to be to capture great sunsets, do time lapses while you eat and just hang out and watch the wildlife roll by. This was an amazing experience for first time visitors to this country and we would definitely recommend it.More

My first experience at the steakhouse was quite underwhelming. My steak was either extremely salty or extremely peppery. Their menu doesn't cater for people with particular preferences;not ideal for kids. Their service was okay. Then, I found it strange that the water placed on the...table is later on charged;just wait till I ask for it then I can pay for it.More

Lovely succulent steak cooked to my specifications. Great environment . The service was fantastic in the beginning but deteriorated as the restaurant became busier. My main meal took 15 minutes to be served whilst the desert took over an hour from the time of order.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner on the terrace. A full menu - soup was incredible followed by a lovely beef tartare. Had a mouthwatering perfectly prepared rib eye and my wife enjoyed fresh prawns. Great service and great food.

As we were staying at the hotel, and decided to eat in rather than make another trip out, we ended up at Eagle's. The waiter was helpful with suggestions, and we had a mix of steak with some local food. The food was very decent,...and portion size generous.More

There is a lift but I can't be 100% sure what the actual access to the restaurant is . It was the old American embassy so maybe one can assume they were prepared.
