This is/was my favourite western spot on HKI. The food was excellent and the staff lively and attentive to our needs. The set meals make the menu very easy. Just let the staff pick for you.

So the menu has changed yet once again. Still serving good food and good atmosphere. Had the game pate / terrine and the Foie Gras as starters, both are nicely done and well presented. We has the dry aged beef as main and that was also very tasty. Moist and tender and the portion is HUGE! The wine menu is... More

A group of us went and we really looked forward to it based on the reviews. Perhaps it was a different chef that night, but honestly the food was not at the standard I expected. Most of the dishes were for sharingm and for mains we ordered the fish, the chicken, and the steak. The salt baked chicken was the... More

My second visit here - dinner this time after a very enjoyable set lunch about 6 months ago. I agree that the service is not overly attentive but the restaurant is cosy and has a nice feel about it. The 2 tables outside are also a great pick weather permitting. We had the pork for 2 people which was tasty... More

Went on recommendations of a good friend and an industry professional, who has been there quite some time ago. The alarm bells should have started ringing when I've overheard the next table discussing between themselves how dry their beef was. My main dish was their signature - chicken baked in a salt crust with truffles stuck under it's skin. The... More

Some friends told me about good things this restaurant several times, so I decided to try on a week end dinner. Very nice surprise! Very good French restaurant, with typical French dishes and very good wines not overpriced! Parisian small bistro atmsphere. The service is friendly, atmosphere cosy, the waiters are experienced and can make good suggestions. Small and cosy... More

This restaurant can hold a 18-20 people party on its first floor. It is kind of cosy and the food is excellent. The pork belly, steak, the grilled prawns taste so delicious. The chef is meticulous about the quality of the food.

This is one of the city's most unassuming, but also most serious restaurants. The produce served here is of the highest quality, be it local, or from elsewhere, and the cooking is superb. Very fair corkage policy too. A true gem!

Been there a few times. The food is delicious and the staffs are attentive. They even have a small al fresco area in the evening. They serve seasonal menu but a couple of the items are served all year round. They have more choices on starters than main and even less choice if you are dining alone as half of... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
