Knowing that we would wake up late on New Year's day, we planned our first meal at Tiffin for a sweet and relaxing afternoon tea. For us three, we ordered two afternoon tea stands and an ice-cream buffet set. We shared the sets because we knew we couldn't finish them if we wanted to eat ice cream too. Indeed, the... More

A must for high tea with a Hong Kong twist. Fantastic and tasty selection that replenished our energy after a lot of walking in the city.

Superb and classy. High end and delightful. Sensational food. Lobster thermidor, fresh lobster, crab and Sashimi. Barramundi, Dover sole, turbot, Atlantic cod. Liver pate and salmon pate. Rib eye steak. Oysters. These are the highlights. All delicious and many more options. Chef de cuisine Robert Liu is a true star and very proactive. Can't wait to come back.

We went to the Tiffin Lounge over the Chinese New Year Holiday for a lunch gathering. Service seems to be not as efficient as our last visit. We had to ask for our drinks, and after that we started with the buffet. The seafood on ice looks good but I only had the chilled crab leg which I put together... More

We were in Hong Kong for winter holiday, and researched a few places to have holiday brunch with our family. We decided to go to Tiffin because it was near where we stayed. I have been to Tiffin for brunch before, but it has been a few years. The pricing was top notch ($980 for adult), especially if you consider... More

Ambience is nice, food is ok. Service is below average. Not the five star service I expect of such a nice hotel.

Tried the Sunday Brunch so here is a quick review. First the environment and ambience. The Tiffin lounge is spacious and wide and the tables are very well spaced out so one has a lot of privacy without having to be squeezed with other dinners in a small confined area like many other restaurants in Hong Kong. For land-scare Hong... More

The dessert buffet here was famous but actually the full Buffet is even better! The food variety and quality is no less than a la carte menu! The live music was excellent too! Yet the only drawback is the sofa and table. It's best for drinks but a little difficult to eat with the sofa table setting. But all in... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
