This very large floating restaurant is reachable only buy Sanpan. It is colorful and beautiful on the outside and elegant inside. The four of us sat at a round table with a lazy susan in the center. We ordered 5 different dishes all of which were brought with 4 people in mind. Everything was wonderful and cost us about $30 each.... More

Its a must see for tourists. Very picturesque. The style of the building (should I say ship) is great and the location in the bay is outstanding. Surrounded by skyscrapers and boats. The food is average to good - fish recommended - and the price is medium. In case you do a BIG BUIS tour, the tour stop allows you... More

I've been to HK many times, but I always missed out on going to the Jumbo Restaurant....,,and I've been to HK many times! I think partially avoided hitting here due to the ease of getting here (in the past you always needed a taxi!). Thanks to the recent MTR extension it was a breeze (although it was still a 'short'... Food was mediocre at best. The best part of the menu was the stir fried broccoli. Everything else was ho hum. Photos taken at entrance for sale were reasonably priced, but gimmicky.

Everyone says you have to go here when you go to Hong Kong. I have been to HK at least dozen times, but never made it here. My dad, who went in the 70's, kept pestering me that this is the place to go, so on my last trip, I went. I get the all the hubbub now. The location... More

This restaurant is very turistic and has a great location, nothing else. It has an average service and very, very expensive price for a normal chinese food.

We went for lunch as my father raved about this place 30 years ago. We were using the Big Bus hop on hop off and this is one of the stops. Unfortunately no one tells you the Free Ferry ride to the Jumbo Kingdom is 200 metres along the waterfront. Our bus ticket gave us the free sampan tour and... More

It is possible that some first time visitors to Hong Kong might find it a worthwhile experience. However, there are restaurants everywhere in HK offering excellent dim sum. If you really want to ride the sampan, which was depicted in the 50s and 60s such as in the movie "The World of Suzie Wong", you are in the right place.... More

It is expensive but you don't have to buy any food. You can go and take photos of the restaurant. Aberdeen is worth visiting, just to see all the boats and sampans.

We try to have a meal at Jumbo each time we're back in Hong Kong. When we went in 2015, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, service, and decor. I remember years ago it was falling apart and sort of a tourist trap. We went again tonight and I can say the food really is terrific.... More
