We read the reviews and came here for lunch with the family (6). The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive and the food was really outstanding and very fresh and healthy. The location is fairly small but very clean and welcoming service.

The food was excellent. It was worth waiting until the beginning of the 5:30 supper hour. Seared tuna salad was very tasty and the portions were generous. Spring roll was also beautifully presented and excellent value for money.

They do great, authentic Thai food. Get the Thai cabbage (Kenang?). Recently refurbished and you can now sit in the front and watch the world go by.

5-8pm is happy hour and the place is packed at the end of the week. That does mean you can get one of their excellent Tom Yum martinis for HK$45 though! I was seated at the bar as I was by myself. I don't mind that but the spot was between where the drinks are put up on the bar... More

Called in for a late dinner with my wife. Nice restaurant, more like a bar with an open front on to Hollywood Road just under the escalator. Good music playing and a great wine list - so a comfortable place for dinner. We tried some of the spice pastes with homemade rice cakes and fried pandanus leaves for a pre-starter.... More

A delicious little Thai joint in heart of Soho! I was looking for a place to eat and grab a few drinks but everywhere was full on a Friday night, not sure why this place wasn't because the food was so yummy! Their cocktails were okay, nothing to write home about. The ambience is really relaxed and chill, I got... More

Nice enough food, ambiance and had an OK time but that can be expected from nearly any restaurant in this area. Might have been just last night but they seemed in a hurry to get the food out and it came just a little too fast and rushed......unlike my next visit.

I first discovered Koh Thai while at work and craving for some Thai delivery. The curry I order was a bliss - very big portion and the flavors were just delicious. I found out the adress and then came by 2 weeks after to have dinner with some friends of mine. We share the Grapefruit Salad and had different curries... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
